1. Introduction 

The introduction consists of two parts, namely, background of the Research and present situation of English writing. The further mainly discusses the importance  of  English writing in  senior  high  school,  and  the  latter  shows  lots  of  problems  in  the  teaching  and  learning  of English  writing  in  senior  high  school.  In  a  word,  the  introduction  makes  people  have  a general idea of why the study is conducted. 

1.1 Background of the Research 
When it comes to English language skills which contain listening, speaking, reading and writing,  writing  skill  is  always  considered  to  be  an  integrated  one  among  the  four.  Also, English writing plays a quite important role in foreign language teaching and lots of English tests. When writing, people should have basic language knowledge, think in English and then use English to express their thoughts creatively and logically. For senior high school students, writing is a way to test their integrated ability of  English learning. It is to say that a student should think of vocabulary, grammar, tense, style and so on before writing a passage. The New English Curriculum Standard (2017) states that the total aims of English course in senior high school are to make students clarify why to learn English, acquire the ability of autonomous  learning  and  team  work,  develop  effective  English  learning  strategies,  and cultivate students? integrated abilities of using English.  As for the writing part, the Standard states  that  writing  is  the  most  difficult  skill.  More  specifically,  the  Standard  divides  the writing  skill  into  nine  levels  based  on  learners?  ability.  And  in  senior  high  school,  students should at least finish the Level Seven which is described as follows: (1)  Student  should  be  able  to  provide  information  by  words  and  graphs  and  describe them simply. (2)  Student  should  be  able  to  write  some  common  application  passages,  for  example, letter and notice.  (3)Student  should  be  able  to  describe  characters  and  events  and  express  their  views simply.

1.2 Present Situation of English Writing
The  present  problems  of  English  writing  in  senior  high  school  are  serious.  Most  of  the senior  high  school  students  have  great  difficulty  in  writing  required  passages.  Usually,  they write  on  the  paper  some  confused  words  and  sentences  which  are  translated  from  Chinese word  by  word,  or  they  even  do  not  know  how  t,英语论文范文英语论文题目
