Abstract
A good title is indispensable to a good movie. Movie title, as the first sound of knocking the deep heart of audience, directly reflects the double value of artistic appreciating and commercial advertising. It not only succinctly describes the story and stimulate the audience’s association, but also provides an effective medium of cross-culture communication between China and western countries. Along with the continuous development of international cultural exchanges, movie title has played a vital role in cross-cultural communication. As a result, with the purpose of cultural exchange, translators should be faithful to the original meaning of the title, as well as paying great attention to the role of cultural factors played in the process of translation.
From the cross-cultural communication perspective, this paper analyses the present situation of Western classic love movie title translation and the problems in conveying the cultural information. Then through the analysis of the basic translation methods and techniques, this paper focuses on the role of cultural factors in the process of translating English movie titles.

摘要
好电影离不开好片名。作为叩响观众心灵之门的声音,电影片名直接反映了其美学欣赏和商业宣传的双重价值。不仅简洁明了地介绍故事情节,引起观众兴趣,还为中西之间的跨文化交流提供了有利媒介。随着国际文化交流的日益发展,英语论文范文,电影片名在跨文化交际中发挥着越来越重的影响。因此,本着文化传播与交流的目标,英语论文,译者应忠于原意,发挥文化因素在翻译过程中的巨大影响。
本文从跨文化传播的角度出发,略论西方经典爱情电影片名的中译近况以及在文化信息传递方面存在的不足,在略论跨文化传播视角下中国电影片名翻译的措施下,集中研讨文化因素发挥的影响。
