摘 要：
近年来，随着中国国际地位的提高,中国在政治领域，经济领域，文化领域和其他国际事务中，吸引了全世界的密切关注。2017年11月8日，胡锦涛主席在北京人民大会堂作了中共十八大报告。这份报告是中国对外宣传的一个重要部分，它有助于向国外宣传当代中国国情，并且作为一个外国人全面了解中国的窗口。
本文通过略论中共十八大报告的译文，从词汇学，句法律和修辞学等几方面，通过举例说明，英语论文范文，英语论文范文，总结政治文献的译文使用的翻译技巧，并就译文的这些特点，对译员的翻译工作，给出四个符合新时代的政治译文特征供参考。

Abstract:
With the advancement of China's international status in recent years, China has drawn close attention of the world in such realms as political system, economy, culture, education and other international interaction. The report to the 18th NCCPC, delivered by President HU Jintao at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Nov 8, 2017, has been an important part for China's publicity to the outside world, helping to disseminate the contemporary China's national conditions and playing as a window for foreigners to know China in an all-round way.
By analyzing the English translation of the report to the 18th NCCPC, this paper summarizes several translation skills of the political documents in terms of lexicology, syntax and rhetoric via examples. Besides, based on these characteristics, four constructive features of the translation are suggested to translators for reference, which would meet the demands of the new era.
