Abstract ：
Eco-translatology provides a brand new angle for translation studies. This thesis aims to analyze the influence of translation eco-environment on the translation process and to prove the applicability of eco-translatology. Eco-translatology, which has been just emerging during the past few years, integrates translation and ecology together to analyze the translation process. This paper makes an analysis on the subtitle translation of film “Sherlock" and concludes that its subtitle translation realizes selection of “three-dimensional transformation” (Linguistic Dimension, Cultural Dimension and the Dimension of Communication), and proves that they are successful translation.

摘要：
生态翻译学为译学探讨提供了一个崭新的视角，本文旨在通过对译文的略论，英语论文范文，证实翻译的生态环境对译者的翻译行为的作用，英语论文范文，证实生态翻译学的适用性。从生态翻译学视角对影片《神探夏洛克》的字幕翻译进行略论，从“三维”（语言维、文化维、交际维）的选择转换，来验证两部影片是适应选择度较高的成功的翻译。

1. Introduction
1.1 Research background
With the development of globalization, more foreign TV swarm into China .Now Chinese can easier access to foreign TVs. “Sherlock” starred by Benedict Cumberbatch was a detective movie with a very high audience ratings appeal in 2017 . Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson's adventures in 21st Century London. A thrilling, funny, fast-paced contemporary reimagining of the Arthur Conan Doyle classic. When this movie ran in China ,it has also achieved good response. But due to language barriers the domestic audience basically rely on the Chinese subtitles to acquire information. In this process, the subtitles translation takes the increasingly prominent role. Therefore, when the translators translate the English subtitle they must understand the original intention of the TV, grasp the theme, familiar with relation ship between different roles and know well about the TV’s background It can help the audience overcome language and cultural barriers. This TVs have achieved so high evaluation not only due to the influence of the famous original and famous main performers but also because of the translation of the movies’ subtitles. From a dimension different from the previous studies, this paper explores the positive significance of TV’s successes in terms of Eco-translatology.
