摘 要
电影是一种艺术形式，也是一种文化消费产品。一部电影能否取得成功不仅取决于其良好的制作，也与其名字有关。好的电影名字不仅可以隐射电影的剧情也可以抓住观众的兴趣使其取得良好的票房收入。随着国际间文化交流的不断发展，电影作为一种重要的传媒手段正日益受到各国的关注。由于东西方文化传统，思维方式异同较大，英语毕业论文，其对电影名的选择也各具特色。同时,电影片名翻译成为翻译实践中的一个重要领域，尽管不少学者做出了有益的探究和尝试，英语论文，但多样的文化语境直接导致英文电影名的翻译不能与原名等值甚至等效，片名翻译近况较复杂混乱，迄今没有一套完整可行的理论来指导和描述片名翻译。本文试从顺应论的角度阐释说明电影名的产出及翻译是如何做出不同的文化顺应的。各种不同的文化语境，诸如心理，社会和物理世界的变化对电影名的产出及其翻译选择产生的作用。同时本文将比较香港，台湾，大陆三地的片名翻译，略论三地各自不同的文化历史背景，受众心理等因素对其各自翻译过程中的文化顺应所产生的作用。

Abstract
Film is a not only a form of art, but also a commercial product. The success of a film is not only determined by its refined production process, but also related to its name. Good film names could convey the films' content as well as arouse audience's interest to get great box. With the continuous development of international cultural exchanges, film begins to get the attention of every nation increasingly as an important media in cultural exchange. But due to different cultural traditions, contexts, customs and thinking modes between the western and eastern world, the choices of their film names embodies distinctive cultural features. As a result, film name translation is an important part of translation practice. Although many researchers have made explorations, some of which are useful, the translations of the film names sometimes can not be as informative and effective as the original ones. The current situation of film name translation is complicated and confused, and no complete and satisfactory theory has been proposed to guide the phenomenon so far. Under the guidance of adaptation theory, this paper will try to demonstrate how the production and translation of film names make different cultural adaptation and the influence of different English and Chinese contexts, such as the mental world, the social world and the physical world on the production and translation of film names. At the same time, the paper will compare the different translations of Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Mainland to analyse the influence of diversified cultural and historical backgrounds, the viewers' psychologies and other factors among the three districts on the cultural adaptation in the process of translation.
