摘 要
随着世界范围跨文化交流的发展，电影，作为一门跨媒体跨文化的艺术，是加速多元文化互动和交流的工具，在各国文化交流中扮演着举足轻重的角色。电影是传播最快最广、具有国际性的艺术形式。外语影片有利于我们了解西方文化，学习电影艺术的美学价值，英语论文范文，掌握英语语言风格。近年，随着中国进一步改革开放和内地与香港、台湾间交流的增多，越来越多的英语电影流入中国市场。这些英语电影想要成功打进华语市场，电影的中文译名成为其中一项首要考虑。片名是影片的识别标志，好的片名翻译能鲜明地揭示影片主题，简练地概括影片内容，并能引起观众的丰富联想与观看欲望。英语片名大多来源于电影中的角色、背景、情节，线索或主题等。然而，一直以来，海峡两岸三地译者对电影片名的翻译存在较大异同。本文通过在互联网上搜集、整理中国内地、香港、台湾地区各类型电影译名，略论三地翻译电影名时的措施策略，并略论其各自的弊端。最后试图从社会体制、文化背景和语言习惯略论产生异同的原因，英语论文范文，以期加强彼此间的交流。

Abstract
With the development of cross-culture communication around the world, film, a cross-media and cross-culture art, plays an important role. Film is an international form of art which spreads fastest and is the most popular. Foreign films help us learn western culture and the aesthetic value of movies and master the language style of English. In recent years, with China's further reform and opening up, the exchanges among Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan are increasing. More and more English movies are introduced into China market. The movie title becomes the priority if the film wants to be a hit in mandarin market. Title is the movie’s logo and an excellent translation can vividly reveal theme, succinctly summarize content and cause imagination and watching desire of audience. The title has its roots in background, plot, clues or theme, ect. However, there are some differences in movie title translation among these three regions. This paper analyses various types of film title translation methods or strategies and their malpractices through collecting and classifying examples from internet. Finally it attempts to analyze reasons for the differences by social systems, culture backgrounds and language habits, so as to strengthen the communication among each other.

Chapter 1 Introduction
With the strengthening of Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, as a means to spread culture, foreign films are massively introduced to China’s Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Film translation becomes more and more important in translation field. And movie title translation is an important and creative work. As a vivid example of language, it embodies the whole social cultural idea, culture value tendency and aesthetic habit.
