摘要
现在,很多公司已经在网页上建立了中英文双语简介,这说明公司渐渐意识到了英文简介对吸引国外潜在客户的重要性。但是英译简介的质量却不容乐观,主要存在文体、结构和选词方面的错误,英语论文网站,甚至在有的英译版本中由于无视文化的异同竟然出现了死板的逐字翻译的现象。这些翻译错误的存在不但会作用公司的形象,而且会阻碍贸易的发展,所以不得不引起译者的重视。
本探讨在功能性翻译理论的指导下对公司简介英译过程中出现的翻译问题及解决办法做了初步的研讨,英语论文,旨在达到平行文本的功能对等,消除由于翻译不当引起的目标读者对译文的困惑和误解。

Abstract
Nowadays, many Chinese companies have built bilingual instruction on their websites, which shows that these companies have realized the importance of foreign potential customers. However, the quality of the English version of company profiles is not so desirable, some mistakes like wording, phrasing,style and structure exist. Some are even word-for-word translation of the Chinese original versions without considering cultural factors. These problems not only may damage the image of the company, but also hinder trade development. So translators should pay enough attention to the problems during translation.
This paper makes a primary study of problems during the translation in company instruction under the functionalist theory. The aim is to achieve the equivalent function of parallel texts and to remove the puzzlement and misunderstanding of target readers.

With China’s adoption of opening-up policy and entry into WTO, China has entered a new era of rapid growth. It participated in international community and communication with the rest of the world. The trend of globalization and china’s entry into the WTO in particular present this country with numerous opportunities for international cooperation and exchanges. Meanwhile, it also means it is more imperative than ever to transcend cultural and linguistic differences to other countries. The fast development of intercultural communication has led to the publication of numerous brochures, and books for publicity, such as company profiles, product introduction, advertisements, and so on. It is Chinese-English translation of publicity materials that serves as a bridge between the country and the rest of the world.
