摘 要
电影是重要的文化交流方式, 随着越来越多的外国影片不断涌入国内市场, 同时更多的国内影片打入国际市场, 电影片名的翻译已成为翻译领域中一个重要的课题。而电影片名的翻译属于跨文化交际的活动,受文化异同的作用。如何正确翻译电影片名, 使之既保持原语文化特色又实现其商业价值是值得翻译工作者深入研讨的问题。因而电影片名的翻译是传递影片故事情节以及传达著作感召力的关键。由于中西方文化渊源和社会环境存在很大异同，译者应在忠实于原片名的基础上缩小源语与译入语之间的文化差距，英语毕业论文，使译名保持文化传播的意义和内涵，达到通俗易懂、富有美感的效果。本文通过对广大学者在该领域的探讨，英语论文，总结前人探讨的经验，对作用片名翻译的因素，原因，以及指导电影翻译的理论及翻译措施进行探讨。

Abstract
Movie is an important way to communication. With the increasing number of movies rush into the domestic market as well as the Chinese movies come into global market, the translation of movie titles has become a significant topic that hotly discussed in the field of translation. However, the title translation belongs to trans-culture activity which is greatly influenced by the culture conflicts. So how to translate the title correctly and properly that either has the character of the source language or the commercial value is a topic that needs to be deeply discussed. The translation of a English movie title should reflect the theme that the movie expresses, the appreciation of the beauty, the culture connotation and the vivid language. A title with profound meaning can add more attraction to the movie which is the key to show convey plot and charisma about the movie. Due to the difference in culture development and the social environment between Westerners and Easterners, a translator must narrow the difference between source language and the target language based on the faith of the original movie and make sure that the translated movie title keep on the same meaning and connotation with the original title and try best to get the result which is easy to be understood and full of beauty. This essay focuses on the cause that influence in the translation for the movie title, the theory that lead the translation as well as the methods for translation.

Introduction
Translation is not only the transition of two language systems, but also the communication, collision and integration of two cultural systems. Therefore, the effect of cultural similarities and differences on translation should be taken into consideration. On the one hand, not only the translation accurately conveys the meaning of the original content but also effectively reflect the general and individual characteristics of bilingual systems. |
