摘 要
众所周知，几乎所有历史悠久的语言都富含习语。习语是语言极其重要和有趣的一部分，它们大多数都是来自于口语交流和经典著作等等。数千年来，英语毕业论文，它们被一代又一代地传承下来，是人类经验的科学总结，也是古代圣贤智慧的结晶，更是光辉文化的积累。因此，中国的成语是我们丰富的民族语言的精华，因为它们集中了丰富的文化内涵，闪烁着智慧的光芒。另外，汉语成语也载负这民族文化的信息，它体现了独特的民族生活习惯和风俗。如果我们能正确解读和应用成语，那我们的语言技能便会大幅度提高,并且有助于我们中华民族的成语走向全世界，让更多的外国友人了解认识中华文化。因此，我们有必要学习更多成语的背景和使用措施。本文我们将主要来研讨四字汉语成语的英译。
前人已经总结了许多成语英译的措施。比如：直译、意译、借代、增译、减译、不译等等。这些措施都能帮助我们提高翻译的能力以及对对翻译的理解。但是我们仍需寻找更完美的措施英译成语。
学习汉语成语的英译对我们非常必要，尤其是对我们英语学习者。当学习这些技巧后，英语论文范文，不仅能拓宽我们的翻译视野还能帮助我们更准确更生动地对外传达中国的文化。

Abstract
As we all know, almost all the languages with long history are abundant in idioms. Idiom is very important and extremely interesting part of language. Most of them are abstracted from spoken language and classical works, and the like. They were passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years, which are scientific summary of people’s experience and the crystallization of the ancient sages and worthies’ brilliant ideas, as well as the accumulation of a splendid culture. Thus, Chinese idiom is the essence of our colorful ethnic language; they contain a lot of connotations and sparkle with the wisdom. Besides, the Chinese idiom is also the load of the national culture of information, and it reflects the unique way of nationality's life style and the custom. If we could understand and use idioms correctly, our language skill will improve much better and it will help Chinese idioms stepping into the world , then people from the world will get more familiar with the Chinese culture. Therefore, we should learn more knowledge about background and usage of idioms. The thesis of this paper we are mainly going to talk about is the translation of Chinese four-character idioms.
There are many methods we can apply to the translation of Chinese idioms that is studied and summed up by previous scholars. For example, literal translation, liberal translation, loan translation, annotation, omission and so on. These strategies will definitely improve our ability and skills of idiom translation as well as our understandings to the translation. We still have a long way to do the perfect translation.
Study on the translation of Chinese idioms is quite essential for us, especially the English learner. After learning these skills, we can not only broaden our horizon about translation, also we can express our Chinese idioms containing the Chinese culture to the world more vividly and correctly.
