摘 要
随着世界经济一体化的发展，世界经济关系越来越紧密，越来越频繁。商务英语作为时代发展的产物，是商务活动中主要的交际语言。与一般的英语相比，商务英语的实质是商务英语背景、专业知识和语言的综合应用。作为专门用途英语，商务英语与普通的英语不同，它有其自身独特的特点。本文第一章将会介绍商务英语的背景和以及在商务英语出现的重要性。第二章会详细说明商务英语词汇的特点。第三章主要深入略论了商务英语句式构成的特点。第四章描述了商务英语的翻译措施和策略。第五章对以上内容进行了总结，本文主要阐述了商务英语词汇、句式构成的特点及商务英语的翻译措施。本文对商务英语特点及翻译技巧的略论使商务英语更加的鲜明、生动、丰富、具体并且有助于读者对商务英语特点及翻译技巧进行更深入的解读。

Abstract
With the development of world economic integration, the world economy is getting more and more interconnected, more and more frequent. As a product of the times, business English is the major language of communication in business activities. Compared with the general English, the substance of business English is an integrated application of business English background, professional knowledge and language. Because the application of business English is more and more wide and the function is more and more outstanding, the composite English talents with strong business English ability become an urgent demand of economy and society. As English is for specific purpose, Business English is different from normal English and it has the unique characteristics. The first chapter of this thesis will introduce the background of business English and importance of business English. The second chapter will elaborate the characteristics of business English vocabulary. The third chapter mainly analyses characteristics of business English sentences. The fourth chapter describes the translation methods and strategies of business English. The fifth chapter makes a conclusion. This paper mainly focuses on the characteristics of business English vocabulary, sentence patterns and business English translation skills. This paper analyses the features of business English and translation skills which makes Business English more vivid, lively, rich and specific. And it helps readers to carry on a more thorough explanation to the business characteristics and translation skills.

1 Introduction
1.1 Background
As the social function variant of English, the emergence of business English is not only the corollary of social development but also the inevitable trend of linguistics development. As early as the end of the 15th century, there have been books written in English in order to overcome linguistics barrier in business English activities among the United Kingdom and other European countries. According to Howatt’s (1984) research, England has taught business English in 16th century.
