Abstract
Lin Yutang was one of the greatest novelists in China and in western world. When he began to write Moment in Peking, Lin aimed at introducing Chinese culture and current realities in China to foreigners. His great contributions to literature about Chinese traditional culture and achievements he has got should be analyzed and discussed on the basis of combining views of Western critics and Chinese scholars.
In this paper, the analysis and research into the effects of translator’s subjectivity upon translation would be on the theoretical basis of theories of translator’s subjectivity by analyzing the content and translating methods. The paper would describe the writing background of Moment in Peking and the other information about the novel, the background and evaluation of different versions of translation works. Discussion and analysis of effect of two translators and their translation methods would be conducted. The paper would mainly compare two versions: Zhang Zhenyu’s Jinghuayanyun (2017) and Yu Fei’s Shunxijinghua (1991) to understand the effects and impacts brought by the translators subjectivity to translation. And by analysis of corresponding sentences in original novel the factors that affect the translation of the novel would be found.
Conclusions drawn from this paper will help students to deepen their understandings of theory of translation as well as this novel and its Chinese versions. Learners could make proper adjustments and efforts to enhance their ability of translation.

林语堂作为最伟大的中国小说家之一，几乎毕其一生为世人留下了众多脍炙人口的佳作。他所创作小说《Moment in Peking》，旨在向外国人介绍中国文化及当时的中国现实。关于他本人在向西方世界作出对于中国文化和传统的介绍中所作出的成就和贡献，英语论文网站，应当在把中西方评论界学者们的观点结合起来的基础上作出略论。
本文以译者主体性相关理论为理论依据，以内容略论和译本比较为探讨措施，致力于探讨译者主体性对同一文本的翻译的作用。文章通过阐述《Moment in Peking》的英文原著背景，不同译本及各译本诞生的背景和评价，从译者主体性谈不同译者的翻译效果。本文主要是从原著中寻找具有典型性的例子，对比两个译本，即张振玉译本《京华烟云》（2017）和郁飞译本《瞬息京华》（1991），再将两者与原著中的表达进行比较以深入略论本文论题。
本文讨论所得出的结论，会帮助翻译的学习者更好的掌握翻译理论,更了解林语堂的《Moment in Peking》及其汉译本。学习者们根据译者主体性各个方面对翻译著作的作用设定要求，并做出相应的调整和努力，以尽可能提升翻译水平。
