Abstract
English reading is most important and most effective during English learning with its extremely important role in English learning. Adopting the method of questionnaire conducted among some college students of University, the paper analyses the English reading attitudes, strategies and achievements of college students. The results of the study show that the students’ attitudes toward English reading are worthy of being encouraged; however, their vocabulary only achieves the high school level and their strategies of English reading should be improved. In addition, students’ knowledge needs to be expanded. At last, some suggestions for improving English reading ability are presented.

摘要
阅读在外语学习中占有相当重要的地位，英语论文题目，是学习外语最有效最重要的手段。本文通过问卷的方式对部分大学生进行随机调查，英语论文网站，对其阅读态度、阅读策略和成果进行略论，得出以下结论：大学生对英语阅读的态度值得鼓励，但是大多数大学生词汇量仅达到高中水平，阅读措施有待提高，知识面也有待扩展。最后，本文就如何提高大学生英语阅读能力提出了一些建议。

1. Introduction
With the deepening political, economic and cultural exchanges all around the world, as a universal language, the status of English is more and more prominent. And English reading is playing a more and more important role in getting information. However, due to the fierce competition of Entrance Examination, most students in our country only aim to complete the reading comprehension as soon as possible without thorough understanding of the reading material itself. They have not developed good reading habits, and in the long run, their reading ability can be hardly improved. In fact, there are many factors which affect the improvement of English reading ability, such as interest, reading method, vocabulary and the cultural background. By recognizing the factors which have strong impact on English reading, one can take measures to improve the English reading ability more effectively.
