Abstract

Learning English grammar in junior middle school lays the foundation for more complex grammar learning in senior middle school. The traditional English teaching methods are still adopted to present grammar in class in junior middle school, which makes the grammar class dull and makes some students gradually lose confidence in English learning. In 1980s, the task-based teaching has arisen, which is distinct from the traditional English teaching methods. Teachers design interesting and operational tasks according to the specific communication and language items. Students complete tasks through various forms of language activities like communication and negotiation, which can improve students’ comprehensive language abilities.
This thesis aims at applying the task-based teaching to English grammar teaching in junior middle school. Meanwhile, teachers set corresponding grammar tasks based on grammar goals. Students complete grammar tasks under teachers’ guidance through various activities. This can help students improve their learning initiatives and enhance the communication between teachers and students. Combining the task-based teaching method with grammar teaching makes grammar learning lively and understood easily. It can help students solve the problem of “difficult to learn grammar” and help teachers solve the problem of “difficult to teach grammar”.

摘  要

初中阶段是学习英语语法的基础阶段,英语论文范文,并为高中学习更为复杂的语法知识奠定基础。现阶段,部分教师仍然使用传统的教学措施,英语论文题目,让语法课堂变得枯燥无味,更让部分学生逐渐对学习英语失去信心。从20世纪80年代兴起的任务教学法,有别于传统的英语教学措施,围绕特定的交际和语言项目,教师设计出具体的、可操作的任务,学生在完成任务的过程中,通过沟通、交涉等各种语言活动形式,达到提高学生应用语言能力的目标。
本文探讨如何将任务型教学运用到语法教学中。教师根据语法目标设置相应的语法任务。同时,学生在教师的指导下通过各种活动完成相应的语法任务,学生完成任务的过程中,既提高了学生的能动性,也增强了老师与学生之间的交流与沟通,让语法律习变得生动有趣且易于理解接受。这既解决了学生“学语法难”的问题,也帮助老师解决了“教语法难”的问题。
