Abstract
Before we learn English, we have had a fundamental or complete grasp of our first language. The transfer of native language is a phenomenon that we cannot avoid in the acquisition of a second language because of the well developed first language system. The first language system as the reference substance, will influence the learning of a new language from many aspects, like vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure and the whole passage. There are positive and negative transfer while negative influences learners more.
There are many differences between Chinese and English while the two languages belong to two totally different families of language. They differ a lot from each other in many aspects. This thesis will analyze the negative transfer from the aspect of sentence pattern. And the author will make a further analysis of the causes that lead to the negative transfer and the differences between Chinese and English sentence patterns and also the performance of the negative transfer.
Hope this thesis can be of some help to both language learners and teachers.

摘 要
在学习英语之前，英语论文，英语论文范文，我们对母语已经有个一个较为深刻完整的了解及掌握。在二外的学习中，母语的迁移影响是一个不可避免的现象，因为在这之前我们已经形成了一个完整的母语系统。这个系统作为一个参照系统会从各方面作用二外的学习，比如词汇、语法、句子结构及整个篇章结构。母语的作用包括积极和消极的作用，但是消极作用占着主导地位。
汉语和英语是属于两个完全不同的语系的两种语言，很多方面都有很大的不同。这篇论文将会从句法习惯方面来略论母语对英语写作的负迁移影响，仔细略论汉英句法习惯的不同及原因,以及由此带来的负迁移表现。
