Abstract:

In the traditional middle school English classes, students always listen to their teachers and write down what their teachers say. They seldom think and ask, which usually results in students’ inefficient use of English. In classes, English teachers should try to create suitable atmosphere to stimulate students’ desire to express ideas, which is advocated in the new syllabus of English curriculum for middle schools. However, traditional teaching method is still popular in many English classes. So, for English teachers, they should adopt effective teaching ways to help students acquire knowledge.
  The thesis mainly focuses on the research of using situational teaching method in middle school English teaching. There are three theories in the thesis, second language acquisition theory, constructive learning theory and mood psychology theory. By using questionnaires and class observation, this thesis analyzes the existing problems of the students in learning English in current English teaching in middle schools, finding such problems as students having no interest and confidence whereas teachers tending to use traditional teacher-centered classroom teaching. Based on the empirical research, the author advocates that situational approach combining merits of many popular teaching methods is an effective way to improve the quality of teaching and students’ language performance. It also encourages students to have actual communications, experience success and accomplishment, and finally improve the comprehensive language abilities. With such propositions, the author tries to work out of both the principles and measures of designing effective situations in the classroom.

摘  要:

在传统的中学英语课堂上,学生总是听老师讲课然后记下来。由于学生很少思考提问,导致他们无法用英语流利地沟通交流。在课堂上,老师应该试着创设合适的情境去激发学生表达思想的欲望,这一点在中学生英语新课标中也有提到。然而在很多中学传统的教学措施仍很盛行。因此,英语论文网站英语论文范文,英语老师要采用有效的教学措施让学生积极地接受知识。
  本文主要是对于情境教学法在中学英语教学中的运用的探讨。本文中提到三个理论基础:二语习得理论;构建主义学习理论以及情绪心里学理论。通过问卷调查和课堂观察的措施,本论文略论了当前我国中学英语教学存在的问题,如学生在学习英语中普遍存在无兴趣、无信心的现象,教学上更多地采用传统以教师为主体的课堂模式。在调查探讨的基础上,本文提出情景教学法可以有效地使学生循序渐进地利用所掌握的英语知识进行实际交际,有助于提高学生综合语言应用能力,而且有利于是学生不断有成功体验,进而提高综合应用语言能力和增强学生的成就感。本论文尝试结合新教材,探讨情境创设的素材,探究合理设计情景的准则和措施。
