摘 要

我们正经历传统教育向未来教育的转变,多媒体这一集声音、图画、动画于一体的先进媒体被越来越广泛地运用英语教学,尤其是关于处于英语基础学习的中小学生而言,形象化的多媒体辅助教学的益处是不言而喻的。本论文首先基于传统教学措施为主的中小学英语教学和多媒体教学中小学英语教学的对比,英语论文,得出多媒体教学的优势,其次略论阐述现行多媒体教学存在的一些弊端,并就中小学英语教师合理使用多媒体提出一定的建议。本论文作为一项描述性的探讨,旨在总结和略论多媒体教学的利弊,英语论文范文,从而为多媒体的有效使用提供一定的参考影响,最终服务于英语教学。

Abstract

We are experiencing the transformation from traditional education to the future education. Multimedia, an advanced media which consists of sound, pictures and animation, is applied to English teaching more and more widely. It is an obvious truism that the benefit of vivid multimedia-aided teaching is self-evident, especially for primary and middle school students who are learning English at the very beginning. This paper firstly sums up the advantages of multimedia teaching based on the comparison of traditional English teaching methods and English teaching assisted by multimedia in primary and middle schools, analyzes the current disadvantages of multimedia-assisted English teaching and then gives some suggestion to English teachers in primary and middle school about how to use multimedia properly. This paper, as a descriptive study, aims to summarize and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of multimedia teaching so as to provide some references for the effective use of multimedia in English teaching.

1 Introduction
As everyone knows, English has become the most widely used language in the world. With the development of economy and information technology, especially as to globalization, the English language has become the most popular language in international communication. It is taught as the foreign language or the second language in most non-English-speaking countries all over the world. However, English teaching in non-English-speaking countries faces many troubles. A large number of students could not be activated in English learning. They can only read and write under the passive learning. Many students, especially students in primary and middle schools, lose their interests at the initial period because of the boring learning condition and atmosphere.
