Abstract: According to the survey conducted by the author, current situation of oral English teaching and learning is far from being satisfactory. Though scholars at home and abroad have conducted many researches as well as putting forward some theories about oral English teaching and learning, studies on the approach to enhancing the ability of oral English are still insufficient and incomplete. Based on the theory of autonomous learning, dialogue corpus and constructivism, the author tries to explore a new way for autonomous oral English learning, which can not only provide students with stimulating and authentic materials to practice, but also motivate the students to communicate efficiently with each other with the rich materials from the dialogue corpora. After comparing and analyzing three main oral English teaching models, the author discusses the merits and methods of applying US sitcom dialogue corpora, with Friends as an example, to autonomous oral English learning. The paper aims at bringing about a great change in oral English teaching and learning by motivating students to acquire and apply English efficiently and consciously with the aid of US sitcom dialogue corpora.

摘  要:依据作者的问卷调查,英语论文范文英语口语的教学近况不尽人意。尽管国内外的学者就有关英语口语教学提出了很多不同的理论也做了很多探讨,但对提高英语口语能力的措施探讨还不够充分和不够完善。基于自主学习理论、对白真实语料及结构主义理论,本文作者旨在研讨出一种新的英语口语自主学习措施:这种措施不仅能够提供真实丰富的材料来加以练习,而且能够激发学生更自然地用对白真实语料库的这些材料来交流。通过对现有三种主要口语教学模式的对比略论,作者以美剧《老友记》为例,试图研讨基于美剧对白真实语料进行自主学习的教学模式的优势与运用措施,旨在借助美剧对白真实语料来鼓励学生更高效且更自觉学习与运用所学英语口语,英语论文题目,以改进口语教学。

With the development of society, a large number of schools are dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary talents to meet the demand of society. Oral English, considered a criterion of students’ English level, plays an important role in English learning. However, it is reported that Chinese students’ performance in oral test of IELTS has remained the poorest for about a decade compared with students from other parts of the world, which has sounded such an alarm that something should be done immediately to change the way in which oral teaching is conducted.
The reasons why students’ oral English is continually at a low level may lie in two aspects: inefficient teaching and ineffective learning. Based on the US sitcom dialogue corpora, the author tries to explore a new way for autonomous oral English learning, which can not only provide students with stimulating materials to practice, but also motivate the students to communicate efficiently with each other with the rich materials from the dialogue corpora.
