Abstract
Winesburg, Ohio written by Sherwood Anderson is a collection of twenty-five short stories and gives us a vivid description about the twenty three grotesques’ spiritual world and weird behaviors. Over the past century, many scholars have mainly studied on the themes of the characters’ grotesque behaviors and the causes of their tragedies. However, very few scholars have done trauma psychological exploration on the novel, yet this perspective can give us a new standpoint and youthful sprint to study the novel. This thesis intends to adapt the trauma psychological theory to explore about the inner world of the grotesques in the novel.
This thesis is composed of four parts. Part one is the introduction, accounting for the writing background of Winesburg, Ohio, research situations home and abroad, the inadequacy of understanding human abnormalities in the novel, and the writing purpose of this paper. Part two is an overview of trauma psychology. Inevitably, the elements and the effects on literature will be analyzed. Part three is an analysis of human abnormalities in Winesburg, Ohio, and some specific cause-and-effect studies of grotesque personalities will be dug out. Part four, the conclusion, besides making a summary about the preceding analysis, it will point out the important enlightenments of the research for the present world.

由舍伍德•安德森撰写的《小镇畸人》是一本收集了25篇短篇故事、向读者生动的描述了23个主人公的畸形精神世界和怪异行为的著名小说。在过去的世纪里，英语毕业论文，许多学者主要都集中于探讨对主人公怪异行为的描写和导致悲剧的原因略论。然而,很少有学者从创伤心理学的角度去解析这本小说。然而，这种措施给我们提供了一个新的角度去解析这本作品。该篇论文将使用创伤心理学理论，系统探索《小镇畸人》中主人公变态的内心世界。
这篇论文包含了四个部分。第一部分主要介绍《小镇畸人》的创作背景和国内外对该作品的探讨近况，并陈述探讨近况中的一些缺陷和这篇论文的写作目的。第二部分是对创伤心理学的一个概述，并略论其原理和对文学的作用。第三部分将用具体例子来略论《小镇畸人》中扭曲的人性。最后的第四部分是总结，英语论文题目，在对先前的略论做出概括的同时，着重指出该探讨为当代人们提供的启发意义。
