摘要
《了不起的盖茨比》，作为弗朗西斯•斯科特•菲斯杰拉德所创作的最富盛名的小说成功的为读者再现了上世纪二十年代美国在经历一战之后的社会变革。这部小说很好的再现了那个时代的繁华与喧嚣，同时也在字里行间表现出作者关于隐藏在这些奢华背后无限萧索的担忧。作为爵士时代的代言人，菲斯杰拉德用他细腻的笔触和独到的情感为读者描述了一个又一个美好又凄凉的故事。他笔下所描绘的人物以及发生在他们身上的故事很好的再现了美国爵士时代，他笔下人物华丽但悲剧性的命运也在世界文坛留下浓墨重彩的一笔。
随着电影的不断发展，许多名著小说都被班上了大银幕，《了不起的盖茨比》作为爵士时代的精华也被一次又一次的呈现在观众面前。从1926年第一次出现在大银幕上，英语毕业论文，到2017年再一次的华丽呈现，这部小说已经经历了五次改编和拍摄，每一次的拍摄在遵循原著的基础上又有着导演关于原著不同的阐述方式和拍摄方式。本文将以1974年和2017年的两部《了不起的盖茨比》的改编电影为考察对象，对两部影片中爵士时代场景的不同再现进行对比略论，探究随着电影拍摄技术的不断发展，英语论文，电影导演是如何更好的对爵士时代进行再现和阐述的。
本文共分三部分，第一部分对电影中出现的主要人物的住宅进行了略论。第二部分对电影中盖茨比举办的聚会进行了略论。第三部分对出现在电影中的电话和汽车这些体现科技发展的设施进行了略论。最后是结论。经过略论，本论文认为随着电影拍摄技术的不断进步，2017版《了不起的盖茨比》的导演以及演员可以更好地对原著小说进行诠释和再现，拍摄场景也能更好地再现美国的爵士时代。

Abstract
It is the destiny for the literary world to have the connection with the silver screen after the born of the film industry. A lot of famous novels have been adapted to films and been brought before the eyes of the audiences. The Great Gatsby belongs to them. After the release of the Great Gatsby in 2017, the eyes of the world again focus on this novel and its adapted movies.
Although the 1920s in the U.S. is only ten years, it just between the World War I and the World War II, which makes it have special value in research. Learning more about this decade would be a way of knowing more about the culture in America during that era. From the booming development after the World War I to the sudden collapse of New York stock market in 1929, the economy of the American experiences a dramatic change, which gives the society a huge shock and change. The unsteady society has huge impact on the younger generation, which gives them opportunity to think their life and the time. Fitzgerald is one of them. He named that era the Jazz Age, and himslef is called the representative of that age. He uses his pen to recreate the luxury and prosperous and noisy world, and digs out the hidden desolation at that time. it is no doubt that the Great Gatsby is one the successful works which reflects the features of the 1920s.
From 1926 to 2017, The Great Gatsby has been adapted to film for five times. With the development of the film industry, the adapted movie has made huge progress in shooting technique, which gives the director more space to show his skill in filming. In this thesis, the movie in 1974 and in 2017 would be compared. Scenes of the same settings would be compared. The result of the comparison would help to explore how does the director better reproduce the Jazz Age.
