摘要
毛泽东诗词是当代中国文学的艺术瑰宝，是世界文化的一颗璀璨明珠。毛诗词继承了中国传统诗歌特点，并在此基础上有所发展和创新。毛诗词产生于特殊的历史条件和社会环境，与诗人的戎马生涯和政治生活紧密相关，从一定的侧面展现了中国近代革命和社会主义建设初期的一些历史画面。毛泽东诗词的翻译工作最早开始于1958年，迄今为止，毛泽东诗词已被国内外的不同学者和翻译者译成多种语言、多个版本，在世界很多国家广为流传。因此，英语毕业论文，通过对比略论现有毛泽东诗词英译本有助于博采各家之长，英语毕业论文，找到更能体现原诗风格、意象和文化意境的英译本，为以后翻译家翻译毛泽东诗词提供借鉴与启示。
本文借助文学翻译教授许渊冲先生的“三美”翻译理论，选取毛泽东诗词中具有代表性部分的不同译本，进行深度的略论和比较，以“三美”准则，即意美、音美和形美为主要理论依据和比较标准，比较不同的译者如何从形、音、义这三个方面来再现原诗的风格、意象和文化意境，探讨其如何达到“三美”的美学标准。

ABSTRACT
Mao Zedong’s poetry is cherished as a gleaming gem in Chinese contemporary literature, and also an inspiring part of world civilization. His poems not only inherit merits of Chinese classical poetry, but also greatly develop it in the poet’s own way. Mao Zedong’s poetry was generated in a special historic period against a special social background, and closely related to Mao’s martial and political career. They also can reflect the history of China revolution in Modern Times and the early days of socialist construction. Systematic translation work on Mao’s poetry began early in 1958. Until now, Mao’s poetry has been translated into many kinds of foreign languages in many versions, and circulates in the world. Therefore, the comparative analysis of different versions helps to find different versions’ advantages and seek a version that can maximally reproduce the original style, image and culture mood. It also can provide translators with reference and inspiration for future Mao Zedong’s poetry translation.
This thesis is a comparative study on several English translated versions of some of Mao Zedong’s poems with the “Three Beauty Principles” initiated by Mr. Xu Yuanchong. The three translation principles, namely, principles “of the sense, the sound and the form” are employed as the theoretical basis and standard to compare how different versions of some of Mao’s typical poems reproduce the original style, image and culture mood from sense, sound and form and how they reach the aesthetic standard of the “Three Beauty”.
