Abstract
William Wordsworth is the leader of Lake Poets, and is regarded as the manifesto of English romanticism in the 19th century. His arts of poetry and poetic theory have become a hotspot in the literature academia both at home and abroad. Daffodils is one of the representatives of Wordsworth’s romantic poetry. In this poem, the poet uses exquisite and sincere language to depict dancing and swaying daffodils, which is run over with the poet’s strong emotion to the nature, and also represents his deep thoughts of creating poetry and romantic poetic style.
In this paper, I will analyze the poem Daffodils as a research text, and appreciate its rhythm, rhetoric, imageries and theme, through all of which show the poet’s aversion to the industrial life and great love towards nature. In the first part, I will introduce the background of William Wordsworth, especially his childhood that has great impact on his future creation of poems. The second part is about literature review of romanticism. I generalize the English romantic literature’s origin, development, traits and influence, and put an emphasis on analyzing Wordsworth’s romantic poetic theory. In the third part, I will appreciate the famous poem Daffodils, analyze its artistic value and the poet’s inner world. The final part is conclusion, where I will summarize the whole paper.

摘 要
威廉•华兹华斯是“湖畔诗人”的领袖，也是19世纪英国浪漫主义的巅峰诗人，其诗歌艺术和诗学理论是国内外学术界普遍关注的一个热点。 《水仙花》是华兹华斯浪漫主义诗歌的代表作之一，诗人用优美真挚的语言描绘了灵动飘渺摇曳多姿的水仙，不仅洋溢着诗人对大自然景色的强烈感情，更含蓄地表达了他对于诗歌创作的理念以及浪漫主义的诗风。
本文以《水仙花》一文为探讨文本，从《水仙花》的节奏与韵律、意象、主题思想等角度来赏析这首脍炙人口的小诗，英语论文网站，表达诗人对资本主义大都市生活的厌倦，寄情于山水之间。第一部分考察华兹华斯的生平及诗歌创作背景，并重点介绍诗人的童年生活给他带来的作用。第二部分是文献综述，概括了英国浪漫主义文学的起源、发展、特征和作用，并着重略论了华兹华斯的浪漫主义诗学理念。第三部分赏析华兹华斯的代表诗作《水仙花》，剖析诗人的内心世界和诗学理念。第四部分总结本文探讨内容。
