摘要

Abstract: Using multi-media and Internet as teaching platform is playing an important role in English teaching. As an interactive mode in the multi-media and Internet, microblog influences English teaching and using microblog to learn English is increasing rapidly. Based on t   he characteristics of microblog and the existing problems in English learning and teaching, this paper discusses how to use appropriate English learning strategies in the microblogging Environment.

1. Introduction 简介

Under the development of computer science, microblog plays a crucial role in the Internet and has an impact on traditional English teaching and learning methods. It provides a new environment for teaching and learning English. So it is necessary to strengthen the power of microblog and finally make students learn English successfully. Due to such motivations, this thesis intends to analyze English learning strategies on the basis of the microblogging environment. It is hoped to explore the problems that learners face in their learning process and offers some ways in terms of the problems so as to improve learners’ English learning abilities with the aid of microblog.



5. Conclusion 结论

As a new network communication tool, microblog expand people’s communication channels, improve their communication speed and broaden their horizons. Using microblog to learn English is not universal and need improving, but it has a bright future. In recent years, microblog presents its strength and potential in spreading information. With the development of microblog and people’s awareness of using it, microblog will be widespread in English learning.
