Withthis purpose, a study was conducted with 57 English teachers in Luotian County of HubeiProvince to find out answers to the following questions: What's the general attitude of rural teachers to professional development?2. What are the crucial factors contributing to the teachers' reluctance to engage inprofessional development?3.
