. Introduction

Whenever there is an exchange, misunderstanding is likely to occur. Miscommunication is costly to business. It means wasted time and money. People who can express themselves well are given high evaluation and praise. This skill, the ability of communicating effectively in a foreign language, may bring good results in business for both the individual and the organization.

. Linguistic Features of Business English
Compared with literary English, Business English has its unique features. Besides linguistic competence and translation techniques, the translators have to master professional knowledge and understand the linguistic characteristics and expression style in various fields of Business English. 2.1 Wording
As far as the choice of words is concerned, Business English places its emphasis on accuracy more than rhetoric, using plenty of terms, idiomatical phrases, abbreviations and compounds. It will be a bit difficult for readers to get a rational comprehension and translation of Business English if the translators do not focus on the study of these words and phrases. (Bussmann, 2017)

Business translation has to conform to the specialized expressive principles and linguistic characteristics of Business English.
