一、课例探讨过程
本节课的教学内容为牛津高中英语(Kent et al. 2017)模块五第二单元“现在分词用法”,教学目标是让学生掌握现在分词的用法,能够完成相应的动词填空、连词成句以及看图对话等任务。 本节课知识容量大,对学生综合技能要求较高,因此笔者将本课作为探讨课,英语论文,采用“一人多轮同课”(即同一教师就同一内容多次授课, 更换授课班级,完善教学措施)的形式,连续进行了三次授课实践。(一)第一轮授课1. 教学过程笔者以篮球运动员姚明的经历为情境贯穿课堂始末, 讲解了现在分词在句子中充当定语、 表语、 宾语补足语及状语的用法,最后学生用课堂上学到的知识,在图片的提示下,写出对于姚明的句子。【教学流程 1】导入笔者首先展示了一幅姚明的照片,引出话题人物, 之后呈现三个与姚明相关且含有现在分词的句子, 让学生找出这些现在分词,并通过完成连线题的形式,分辨它们在句中所充当的成分。(1)Yao Ming is a hard-working basketball player. Object ComplementMany people find his games exciting and thrilling. AttributivePlaying wonderfully,Yao Ming has many fans. PredictiveWhat he has done is extremely encouraging and inspiring Adverbial【教学流程 2】现在分词起形容词影响环节 1:现在分词充当定语笔者借助一幅姚明在赛场成功投篮的照片, 向学生呈现三个现在分词作定语的例句,如(2)所示:(2)a. The shouting man in the pictureis Yao Ming.b. The man shouting in the pictureis Yao Ming.c. The man who is shouting in thepicture is Yao Ming.单个现在分词做定语可放在被修饰名词之前,如(2a);分词短语做定语放在被修饰名词之后,如(2b);也可以出现在相应的定语从句中,如(2c)。 在讲解了这些例句之后佐以相应练习,如(3)所示:(3) 请分别使用定语从句和现在分词两种措施将 a,b 连词成句。a. Shanghai;develop fast;Yao Ming’shome town.答案:Shanghai which is developing fastis Yao Ming’s home town.Shanghai developing fast is YaoMing’s home town.b. The ceremony;attract many audi-ence;feature Yao Ming’s attendance.答案:The ceremony which attracts manyaudience features Yao Ming’s at-tendance.The ceremony attracting many au-dience features Yao Ming’s atten-dance.环节 2:现在分词充当表语现在分词作表语置于 be 动词和其他系动词后,通常表示主语的属性和特征。 教师展示一幅姚明训练的照片, 并呈现例句(4), 其中现在分词 boring 和 interesting 作表语。(4)Although playing basketball is bor-ing (bore), it can sometimes be in-teresting (interest),because Yao Mingpractices it with passion.环节 3:现在分词充当宾语补足语现在分词往往出现在感官动词 (如(5a) 中 的 see) 和 使役动 词 ( 如 (5b) 中 的had)的 宾语之后做宾语补足语 ,表示宾语主动或正在做某件事。(5)a. We can see Yao Ming listening toa lecture in the classroom.b. The coach had Yao Ming trainingfor hours.在讲解了例句之后给出 3 道填空题,让学生练习现在分词做宾语补足语的用法。(6)a. Yao Ming found English chal-lenging (challenge) when start-ing playing in NBA.b. Yao Ming didn’t want to be caughtviolating (violate) the rule in thematch.c. The two team tied,so the judgehad the match continuing (con-tinue).【教学流程 3】现在分词起副词影响环节 1:教师给出四组例句,如(7)~(10)所示,每组两句,a 句包含由连词 after,because,if或 therefore 引导的状语从句;b 句使用现在分词短语做状语, 指导学生将 a,b 句相互转化,并提示知识要点:现在分词的逻辑主语与主句的主语保持一致。(7)时间状语a. After Premier Wen received thestudents’ letter,he decided towrite back.b. Receiving the students’ letter,Premier Wen decided to writeback.(8)原因状语a. We are making bigger holes inthe nets,because we hope toavoid catching fish that are notfully grown.b.
