Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Orientation of the study
这项探讨是探究一些有效的措施来设计任务型英语阅读课的任务高中。具体来说,第一个目的是探究可操作的,有效的基于任务的高中英语阅读教学模式。该模型旨在英语教师提供一个参考,而这些积极推动实施新的英语课程标准(2017年),并提高学生的阅读能力。第二个目的是介绍一些措施,教案设计任务。它的目的是提供一些成功的案例教学,弘扬交流的教学措施与英语教师。The study was done to explore some effective ways to design tasks for TBLTEnglish reading class in senior middle schools. Specifically speaking, the first purposeis to explore an operable and effective task-based model for teaching English reading insenior middle schools. The model is aimed to offer English teachers a Reference, whichwill positively promote the implement of New English Curriculum Standards (2017)and improve students' reading competence.The second purpose is to introduce some ways to design tasks in lesson plans. Itaims to provide English teachers with some successful teaching cases which willpromote the exchange of teaching methods.
1.2 Background of the study
阅读在语言学习中起着重要影响,这是最为重要的途径之一,获得知识,获取信息和获得乐趣。然而,在高中英语阅读教学的情况也不是很理想。首先,英语毕业论文,传统的教学措施,如语法翻译法仍然占主导地位读书班,其主要目的是引导学生掌握语言知识,而忽视教师的培养阅读技巧和策略。此外,在这种以教师为中心的课堂,学生依赖老师很多,英语论文范文,总是等待老师的教学。其次,由于缺乏必要的培训,大部分学生已经形成了一些无效的阅读习惯喜欢倒退,指指点点,读一个字一个字等,这将对他们的流利阅读的负面作用。总之,这些传统的措施会妨碍学生的阅读能力的发展。为了改变当前的教学情况,以提高学生的阅读表现,探讨人员一直在寻找一种有效的措施。Reading plays an important role in language learning which is one of the mostimportant ways to get knowledge, acquire information and obtain pleasure. However,the situation of English reading teaching in senior middle schools is not verysatisfactory. Firstly, traditional teaching methods like grammar-translation approach stilldominate reading classes whose main aim is to lead students to acquire linguisticknowledge, while the cultivation of reading skills and strategies is neglected by teachers.Besides, in such teacher-centered reading classes, students rely a lot on the teacher andalways wait for teachers' instruction. Secondly, because of lack of necessary training,most students have formed some ineffective reading habits like regressing, pointing,reading word by word and so on, which will exert a negative effect on their fluentreading. In one word, these traditional approaches will hinder the development ofstudents' reading abilities.In order to change current teaching situation to improve students' readingperformances, researchers have been finding an effective approach. In the late 1980s,task-based language teaching attracted people's attention whose nature is learning bydoing. In the sense, a task is a goal-oriented activity which will be implemented by learners. In order to complete the task,learners involve themselves in authenticenvironment by using or exploring language. And the task of a teacher is to designeffective and meaningful tasks and offer students chances to complete.Task-based language teaching is highly advocated in the New National Standardfor English Curriculum published in 2017. TBLT has the nature of learning by doing,cooperative learning and so on. However, in the teaching practice, a lot of Englishteachers have not got a good understanding of it. What's more, they are lack of relevanttraining of designing tasks. Teachers should consciously leam how to apply TBLT intoteaching practice. The author wants to provide some TBLT teaching plans to exchangewith colleagues.
1.3 Significance of the study
