    【Part A教学设计】
    一、热身
    1.学唱本单元歌曲“My Pets”。
    2.猜宠物。
    Do you have pets?
    Can you describe it?
    请有宠物的学生描述,其他学生猜。
    二、导入
    1.I have two pets. Guess what they are?教师描述dog的情况,学生猜。
    2.课件展示一只黑色的大狗和一只白色的小狗。
    Which dog do you like? Why?
    How tall is the black dog?
    How tall is the white dog?
    Which dog is stronger?
    Which dog is funnier/happier?板书:funny—funier,happy—happier,让学生观察说说变化规律。
    3.Look at the black dog's tail. How long is its tail?Please guess.先引导学生用I think it's about…猜测,再用课件展示它的长度:It's only 8cm long.同法猜白狗的尾巴长度,并将两者进行比较。
    三、呈现
    1.教师让学生看课本第6页的插图,英语论文题目,引导学生用who,where,which,how看图提问并回答。
    如:Who are in the picture?
    Where are they?
    How many monkeys are there in the picture?
    Which monkey is taller/stronger...?
    ...
    2.学生合上书本听录音,回答老师问题:
    Which monkey does Ben like? Why?
    Which monkey does Dad like? Why?
    How long is the little monkey's tail?
    如果觉得学生有困难,可以再播放一遍录音。
    3.打开书本 ,默读课文,完成阅读材料后的练习,校对答案。
    4.朗读对话。要求尽量模仿磁带录音有感情地朗读,然后分角色读。
    5.如果时间允许,让学生根据对话口头描述插图。
    6.通过实例对比,引导学生发现its和it's的区别。
    My father has a big nose. His nose is pink.
    My dog has a big nose too. Its nose is black.
    My uncle is tall. He's a policeman.
    He has a dog. It's a police dog.
    【泛读材料】
    In a Pet Shop
    Dad: Ben, tomorrow is your birthday. Here are two lovely cats. Which one would you like?
    Ben: Let me see. The white one is about 30cm tall. The yellow one is much taller than it.
    Dad: Yes. Which one would you like?
    Ben: The white one is funnier than the yellow one. But it's smaller.
    Dad: Well. Which one do you like then?
    Ben: I think the white one is better than the yellow one.
    Dad: So you like the white one?
    Ben: But it's too small.
    Dad: You...? Tell me, do you want a cat?
    Ben: Yes! But not a cat!!!
    Dad: What? I don't understand.
    Ben: I want the two cats!

    看Let's read中的插图,根据对话简单描述,如:

    【Part B教学设计】
    一、热身(略)
    二、导入
    T:Today we are going to talk about the animals in the sea. Do you know what animals live in the sea?
    T:I know…lives in the sea.教师可以利用图片提示学生使用seahorse,starfish,sealion等,再让学生看单词图卡尝试认读新词:squid,lobster,shark,seal,whale。
    T:Today,let's go to know two kinds of whales,sperm whales and killer whales.
    教师出示抹香鲸和虎鲸的图片,教学单词:sperm whale,killer whale。
    三、呈现
    1.教师请学生带着下列问题阅读“Sperm Whale”:
    How long is the sperm whale?
    How heavy is it?
    How many teeth does it have?
    How long is each tooth?
    How long is its tail?
    What does it like to eat?
    What can it do?
    2.学生默读完后,用完整的句子口头回答问题。教师根据学生的回答补全表格中的信息:
    
    教师利用How long is it?等来引导学生理解length,英语毕业论文,weight,skill,并协助学生输出Weight means how heavy is it. Skill means what can it do.等。
    通过画图与动作帮助学生理解“dive into the deep cold water”。
    3.学生 同桌根据表格问答。
    4.听录音跟读“Sperm Whale”部分。
    5.听“Killer Whale”部分录音,填写表格中的加粗部分。
    
    6.请学生一问一答校对答案。如:How long is the killer whale?It's 8 meters long…鼓励学生整句输出。
    7.听音跟读“Killer Whale”部分内容。
    8.看表格完成书上的习题,师生校对答案。
    【泛读材料】
    阅读下面有关蓝鲸的材料,并口头表达,最后形成一个完整的段落。
    Blue Whale:the biggest animal in the world
    Length:30 meters
    Weight:150 tons,as much as 15 elephants
    Food:small fish and sea plants,4~5 tons of food each day
    Speed:28 kilometers/hour
    Skill:spray water into the air
    【写作练习】
    (根据学生的水平选择一项)
    1.根据课本上抹香鲸与虎鲸的描述,选择一种改写成短文。
    2.根据上述表格,对两种鲸进行比较描写。如:The sperm whale is 7 meters longer than a killer whale. It is heavier than the killer whale…^
