All members of the group will be researching the topic, brainstorming ideas and looking at the issue from different perspectives. Each member is assigned specific tasks which includes creating a PowerPoint, making the proposal for the major , creating the peer evaluation rubric, and lastly writing the itself. Gilbert has ben assigned the role of making a PowerPoint presentation, using the data collected through research. This portion of the assignment is to be finished by Day 9, leaving a fair amount of time for the rest of the group members to evaluate and review the content, making changes if necessary. Neelufer has been assigned to create the proposal for the final , touching upon all of the required points listed on the major assignment’s outline. This task must be finished by day 5, giving the group a day to review and make corrections if necessary, before the assignment is to be handed in. Elaine has been assigned to create the peer evaluation rubric, in order for the group members to evaluate each other accordingly. This task must be finished by day 10, once all of the tasks are finished, in order to give a fair evaluation to one another. Lastly, all three members of the group must complete the final by day 9, in order to prepare for the final presentation of the PowerPoint. Each person will be responsible for a specific part of the , once complete, the members will put the together and ensure that the ideas flow.
Research Strategy
For the , we will be relying on different online resources that are available. Using the computer lab, we will access the database for peer reviewed articles, which perceive the issue from different perspectives. We will be researching different online news outlets, both for and against the issue being analyzed. This way, we will be able to explore different perspectives and biases, thus forming our overall opinion about the current issue being discussed.
