（一）、信件习惯上的不同
在信函交流中,“两种”语言在称呼及签名上有所不同。我们来看下面的两个传真。
(1)Dear Sirs,
On 25th May I shall be removing from the above address to St Annes—on—sea and wish to arrange cover in the sum of 8.000 for household effects during transit. Will you please quote your terms for providing the required cover, which should include loading and discharge?
Yours faithfully;
John Smith
(2)Gentleman;
Referring to your cable of February 12, we are pleased to confirm having told you 50 tons of peanuts on the terms and conditions agreed upon.
We enclose here with our sales Confirmation No.CF2437 in duplicate, a copy of which please countersign and return to us for our file.
Truly Yours,
John Smith
从第一个传真我们可以看出英式法语信函中称呼用Dear Sirs后接逗号(,),而签名用Yours faithfully。
从第二个传真我们可以看出美式法语信函中称呼用Gentlemen加分号(;),而签名则采用代词后置的形： Truly Yours。[10]（P44） |
