【摘要】：文化渗透于我们生活的方方面面，西语毕业论文，语言和文化有着密切的关系，每一种语言都反映了其文化，因而任何形式的语言都有其文化内涵。语言是文化的载体。不同的文化对词汇的文化内涵有着很大的作用。而习语是语言的精华，是我们民族文化的体现。本文从文化角度,以对比略论语言学理论为指导,对中西习语进行对比略论探讨。这一探讨一方面为英汉习语对比探讨提供概览;另一方面以一个更全面的观点探究英汉习语;此外，英汉习语的对比探讨为习语翻译提供理论指导，通过对比探讨,我们可以看出英汉习语间既有相似点也有相异点,存在于习语的来源以及文化内涵等。本论文不仅在习语的文化内涵上作了对比,而且详细对比了习语的来源。虽然各民族多方面存在异同,来自不同国家的人们彼此之间能够交流,这表明不同的语言中存在着互通性、互换性以及可译性。因此,英汉习语对比探讨对对比略论语言学探讨的发展和习语翻译的顺利进行是十分重要的。翻译是传播与交流两种文化信息的重要工具。因为习语包涵着大量的文化信息与文化特征，在不同的文化背景中习语有时有着不同的文化内涵，这样对翻译和掌握习语就增加了困难。因此，西语毕业论文，本文提供了五种较为可行的翻译策略可以运用在习语的翻译中，为更好地掌握习语提供了措施。
本论文主要采用的探讨措施,即略论归纳法、比较法。作为对比语言学的主要措施论,求同求异法运用于整篇论文,体现在英汉习语来源与文化对比探讨之中。
本文将以以下脉络展开文章。第一章为简介。第二章介绍了英汉习语国内外探讨近况，习语的定义。第三章对比略论了英汉习语，由于地理位置、社会习俗、文化内涵，价值观等的不同,英汉习语的来源也不尽相同。第四章介绍了习语翻译策略，通过对比探讨,我们可以看出英汉习语间既有相似点也有相异点,所以在翻译过程中要用适当的翻译策略。第五章是总结。
