梅尔•吉布森是美国杰出的演员兼导演，《勇敢的心》是他的代表作。1995年，英语论文网站，电影圈被一股民族战歌风所占领，《勇敢的心》包揽了奥斯卡五项大奖，使得这部著作风靡全世界。如今的电影盲目地追求视觉效果、感官刺激从而收获高票房，英语论文范文，但《勇敢的心》大胆创新，引用厚重的历史主题，将公元13世纪苏格兰人民对英格兰暴力统治揭竿而起、前赴后继的壮阔历史再次演绎到影屏上。
《勇敢的心》因其让人叹为观止的场景、浩荡的战争场面和感人至深的故事情节被当世誉为“史诗电影”。人们眼观苏格兰巍峨的连绵山脉、青葱的广袤森林还有那美丽的宁静村庄，耳听苏格兰牧笛的哀伤婉转和动人心脾。更重要的是，我们能在电影中与主人公一同见证他从懵懂少年成长为民族英雄的历程。主人公威廉•华莱士的远大志向和非凡身手使他成为革命军队的领袖，而更让人出乎意料的是，他粗线条的外貌和骁勇善战并没有掩盖他的语言魅力。正是富有演讲天赋的他屡屡妙语连珠地鼓舞士气，在数倍于自身的英军阵前，一番慷慨激昂，最终重创敌手，立下不世之功。
探讨这个课题的时候，我正好想到了语用学当中的两个著名理论：“合作准则”和“礼貌准则”。它们在本文关于电影片段的解析起着关键影响。我尝试着寻找电影中有关两个准则的信息，然后尽力再用理论去重新诠释这些摘录信息。通过这样，我更加注意到“合作准则”和“礼貌准则”在领导式语言中的重要性了。我希望通过这个探讨，可以提供给未来的领导者一些潜在的思路，让他们在领导岗位上游刃有余。

Abstract
The film Braveheart, which swept five Oscar Awards in the year of 1995, brought the director Mel Gibson fame. His work was so popular all over the world that broke box office records in many countries. While films nowadays pursue blindly the visual effects, sensory stimuli in order to make a box-office smash. However, Braveheart is maverick. It adopted the heavy historical theme innovatively and brought about the repetition of the Scottish revolt history. Mel Gibson used fascinating scenes of wars and engaging anecdotes in this film, which was honored as Epic Movie in the 20th century. In this film, we can enjoy it by watching the magnificent range of mountains, vast green forest and beautiful still villages in the Scotland borderland while hearing their traditional Scottish reed ripe of euphemism. What’s more, we can also witness the growth of protagonist William Wallace from an ignorant boy to a national unrivaled hero. Wallace’s great ambition and salient skills made him leader of his revolution army, but more importantly, it was his language charms that helped him to be the ever-lasting screen hero. His broad-brush body shape and bravery did not disguise his talent in speaking. It was his exciting speech in the battlefield that significantly boosted the morale of his army, which finally defeated the English troops though was outnumbered.
When studying this topic, it reminded me of two famous theories of Pragmatics: The Cooperative Principle and The Politeness Principle. They are essential to account for the examples I selected from the film. I tried to find information that is relevant to the two basic principles and made attempt to explain it again by using these principle. By doing this, I started to notice the importance of the CP and the PP in leadership style language. I hope this study would show future leaders the potential elements in a more effective leading situation.
