摘 要
摘要：华裔作为一个特殊的群体，一方面，在外国人眼中，英语论文范文，他们继承了中华民族的传统文化，另一方面，关于中国人来讲，他们又深受外国文化的作用。因此，他们在两种文化的交流中难免会产生冲突。本文所探讨的电影《喜福会》描述的是第一代中国移民移居美国后，四个深受中国传统文化作用的母亲和她们从小在美国土生土长的女儿之间由一开始的文化冲突，碰撞，到最后的逐渐理解和热爱。本文尝试通过对电影《喜福会》中四对母女联系的探讨，对比略论中西方文化在价值观，婚姻观，爱情观，教育方式和语言表达方式等方面的异同。并通过对电影《喜福会》中不同人物性格以及命运的刻画，表现中西方在文化之间的异同与交融。同时也深刻细致地表达出这种异同和交融对人们的启发和思考，英语论文题目，从而寻求避免文化冲突的有效措施。

ABSTRACT
Ethic Chinese act as a special group. On the one hand, in the eyes of foreigners, they inherit China’s traditional culture; on the other hand, for Chinese, they are under the influence of foreign culture. As a result, the exchanges of two different cultures will inevitably produce conflicts. This paper studies on the movie “The Joy Luck Club”. This movie presents several stories between four pairs of mothers and daughters. Four mothers are the first generation of Chinese immigrants to the United States, but their daughters are American-born. Chinese traditional culture has great influence on the four mothers while their daughters accept the American culture. At the beginning, there are many cultural conflicts and collisions between daughters and mothers because of the cultural differences. After something happened, the daughters begin to understand their mothers and the Chinese culture, and finally love Chinese culture. This paper attempts to contrast and compare views of values, marriage, love, ways of education and the language expression, and many other differences between Chinese and Western culture through the study of the four pairs of mother-daughter relationships in the movie. The paper describes the differences and combination of Chinese and Western culture according to different characters and individual fates in the movie “The Joy Luck Club”. And also, this paper profoundly expresses people’s inspirations and thinking upon the differences and combinations in order to find effective ways to avoid cultural conflicts.
