从体距学和气味学略论中美商务礼仪异同[英语论文]

Abstract:

This essay aims, firstly, to illustrate verbal communication and nonverbal communication in the context of intercultural communication. Furthermore, it investigates into the difference between nonverbal communication and verbal communication; secondly, the paper attempts to briefly introduce the definition, features, application of business etiquette and the significance of business etiquette. Thirdly, the research focuses on analyzing the meaning and features of proxemics and olfactics and comparing the difference in business etiquette practiced in China and the U.S. from the perspective of proxemics and olfactics. This essay concludes that bushiness etiquette, which is easily neglected, has an important role when perceived in proxemics and olfactics. The essay finally expects to help people to understand the different cultures so as to achieve an effective communication.

摘要:

本文旨在,首先,从跨文化角度略论介绍了言语交际和非言语交际,以及探讨非言语交际与言语交际之间的区别;其次,简要概述商务礼仪的含义,英语毕业论文,特点与运用,强调商务礼仪的重要性;再次,着重略论非言语交际中的体距学和气味学,概括体距学和气味学各自特点,并通过探索体距学和气味学这两个角度,略论对比中美商务礼仪在商务场合中运用的不同,进一步说明中美商务礼仪容易忽略的异同性和重要性,同时也帮助人们有效地理解和应用体距学和气味学进行跨文化交际。

1. Introduction
With the advancement of globalization, the interactions between different cultures have been increasingly frequent, especially in the economic field. Businessmen of different cultural backgrounds, world views and religious beliefs are likely to encounter conflicts in cross-cultural communication. It is of vital significance for businesspeople to be familiar with the distinctions of business etiquette among different countries and be aware of the use of relevant communication skills and coping strategies.
