摘要
科技的发达、信息的便捷，促成了经济、政治和文化的全球化发展。在全球化的过程中，一个国加的文化和其信仰的价值观会随着全球化的潮流传播到另一个国家。自1972年尼克松总统访华以来，中美联系日趋友好，中美之间的交流和合作也越来越多。然而，美国文化和其价值观却有形地或无形地向中国传播。近年来，英语毕业论文，美国前总统克林顿，布什和美国现任总统奥巴马都相继来华访问，并选择不同的中国著名学院发表演讲。本论文正是以其演讲稿为例，英语论文题目，略论其对中国民众所传播的美国所信仰的价值观。
本文首先阐述国内外学者对价值观和美国价值观的描述，并总结出美国价值观所包含的主要内容和核心思想。其次，再介绍霍夫斯特德的五个文化维度以及重点区别个人主义与集体主义。再次，介绍国内外学者对美国价值观向外传播的模式。在此基础上，本文将对此三位总统的访华演讲进行略论，总结出他们在演讲稿中直接或间接传播的美国所信仰的价值观。
本文旨在通过以上探讨及对美国三位总统演讲稿的具体略论，总结出美国所信仰的价值观，以及其向中国传播的美国价值观的内容和方式。

ABSTRACT
Recently, the globalization of economy, politics, and culture are accelerated by advanced science. One nation’s culture and values will spread to another nation within the tide of globalization. Sino-U.S. relation has been improved gradually since the year when the former U.S. President Richard Nixon visited China. Since then, the exchanges and cooperation between China and U.S. become much more frequent. However, American values are visibly or invisibly promoted to China during the progress of exchanges and cooperation. In recent years, the former U.S. President Bill Clinton and George Bush W, and the incumbent President Barack Obama visited China one after another, and gave speeches in China’s famous Universities. This thesis is going to study the expansion of American values based on their speeches in China.
The thesis will illustrate the values and American values of the scholars at beginning, and summarize the content and the core value based on those scholars’ research. Next, the thesis will introduce Hofstede’s five dimensions of culture, and distinguish individualism and collectivism. And then, the thesis will summarize the methods of how American values are promoted to other countries. On this basis, the thesis will summarize what American values were promoted to China in those three presidents’ speeches.
Through the previous study and the analysis of their speeches, this paper will lay out the value Americans believe in, what values the three presidents want to promote and the methods they utilize.
