1.1 The Background of the Research

发展科学和技术,并在市场经济的作用,在国际交流和贸易活动增加,尤其是肉,禽,蛋,英语毕业论文,奶年,作为中国开到外面已经被不断扩大和其国际地位不断上升,一个大数目的专门人才谁精通外语,迫切需要加快中国的现代化进程,使我国在国际事务中发挥更大更积极的影响。因此,掌握好英语,为实现上述目标具有重要的现实意义和深远的历史意义。
社会人才,谁掌握了一定的外语水平的需求日益增加。许多因素引起普遍重视学习外语(尤其是英语)。因此,外语教学也变得越来越重要。所以培养这些人才成为我国政府的钱已经花了大量的重要任务。英语甚至已经从小学三年级任教。然而,我国在英语教学中存在的弊端,英语论文范文,已经有更多的时间成本,效果却越来越差已经达到。一个现象是语法教学在语言学习的重要性被过分强调。有些老师不重视课程标准的理念,他们也没有考虑实施新课程教材的写作意图。
With the development of science and technology and the influence of the marketeconomy, the international exchange and trade activity has increased, especially inrecent years,as China's opening to the outside has been constantly enlarging and itsinternational status rises ceaselessly, a large number of specialized talents who have agood command of foreign language are badly needed to speed up China'smodernizations process and make our country play a bigger and more active role ininternational affairs. Therefore,mastering English well has an important realisticmeaning and profound historic significance for achieving the goal above.
Society has an increasing demand of talents who master a certain level of foreignlanguage. Many factors caused the universal attention to learning foreign language(especially English). Therefore, the foreign language teaching is also becoming moreand more important. So training these talents becomes the important task of the school.And a large amount of money has been spent by our government. English has evenbeen taught from grade three in the primary school. However,the drawbacks inEnglish teaching in our country have existed that more time has been cost but lesseffect has been achieved. A phenomenon is that the importance of grammar teachingin language learning has been excessively emphasized. Some teachers don't value theidea of the curriculum standard and they also don't consider the writing intention ofthe implementation of the new curriculum materials. In the teaching process,they takeEnglish grammar as the key link and explain the grammar rules a lot and the students'task is to listen to their teachers carefully. As a result, students can talk aboutgrammar rules skillfully but make a lot of mistakes when they use those rules.Another phenomenon is that the importance of grammar teaching has been ignored.Some teachers misunderstand that the idea which emphasizes the students' ability ofusing language comprehensively means weakening the grammar teaching. Someteachers even simply think that implementation of the new curriculum standard meansabandoning grammar teaching. This kind of misianderstanding makes some teachersignore the effects of English grammar teaching. As a result, many students cannoteffectively improve their English because their basis of English grammar knowledgeis too poor. They can't use their oral English accurately, but also cannot write a fewsentences which are completely correct. The third phenomenon is that quite a numberof teachers concentrate on explaining the grammar rules at first and then doing some special grammar exercises because they are under the pressure of examinations, whichis also against the requirements of English grammar teaching.
In this kind of situation, how to teach foreign language and grammar,what kindof teaching methods should be used and whether we should pay little attention togrammar teaching is a very important and urgent problem that foreign languageteachers have to face an
