摘要
随着改革开放和世界经济一体化进程的加快，各国之间商务往来越发频繁，商务口译人员正逐渐成为中国国内的紧缺型人才。译员在国际交流中扮演着重要的角色。他们并非是交际过程中透明的“窗玻璃”，不显露任何立场的运输管道，而是随时可能根据交际形势向当事一方进行或许是钟摆式的局部靠近。译员不可能保持绝对的中立。商务活动由于其自身的特点，利益双方的得失，英语论文，更加容易作用口译员的中立立场。本课题拟从商务口译活动的特点出发，英语论文范文，略论其对译员非中立立场观的作用。

Abstract
With China’s reform and opening up as well as the acceleration of the economic globalization, international exchanges in business have become increasingly frequent. In China, business interpreters are gradually become the badly needed professionals. Interpreters are now playing an indispensable role in global communications. They are not ‘a pine of glass’ and conduits without thoughts. Instead, they tend to incline to one side or partly pitch the other side like a pendulum. In other words, it is impossible for the interpreters to keep absolute neutral. Apart from the common characteristics with interpreting, business interpreting is characterized by its own defining features. Owing to the features linked to benefits of both sides, the position of interpreters may be affected in the process of communication. This paper is going to work out the definition and characteristics of interpreting and focus on that of business interpreting, then explain the roles of interpreters on business settings as well as subjectivity consciousness and non-neutrality of interpreters. The major task is to explore the effects on the non-neutrality of interpreters which are given by the characteristics of business interpreting.

1 Introduction
With the acceleration of economic globalization, more and more companies are trying to establish business relations with the foreign ones, aiming at keeping abreast with the times and increasing economic benefits. However, these goals will not be achieved without interpreters who have both bilingual competence and cross-culture knowledge which will be of great help in international exchanges and corporation. Although business interpreting is a newly-developed area, it is needed in a wide range of events, such as business negotiations, meetings, talks, visits and so on. As the author majors in business English and is interested in interpreting, this paper will elaborate business interpreting.
