2017 年，中国政府建立了第一个英文电子政府网站。此后，各级地方政府纷纷建立各自的英文网站。英文政府网站是中国政府重要的对外宣传窗口，英语论文，关于塑造政府形象，改善国际联系具有重要意义。然而，英语论文网站，经过调查发现政府英文网站普遍存在各种翻译错误。本文将以天津市政府英文网站为个案探讨，以目的论和德国功能翻译学派为理论视角，研讨网站翻译的特点和要求。详尽略论选自天津市政府英文网站的实例，研讨并论证纠错对策的可行性。作者将翻译错误结合实例加以详细讨论。本探讨旨在对政府英文网站翻译工作者有所启迪，帮助他们搞好翻译工作。

Abstract:
Since the central government in China launched the first English version of Chinese government website in 2017, local governments at all levels began to build their own English-language websites as responses to the “Government Online Project”. The English-language websites play a significant role in bettering international relations as well as helping China establish a favorable image. However, the author has found that there are various translation problems on local governments’ English websites, on which few studies have been made. This thesis conducts a case study on Tianjin Government English website to discuss the website translation of the characteristics and requirements and to analyze the bad examples selected from Tianjin government English website. Seen from of the perspective of Skopos theory and functional translation theory, the author attempts to find certain strategies of error-correction. This research, which is conducted under the guidance of the functional translation theory, intends to enlighten translators who translate from Chinese into English for local governments’English websites and to help them do translation better.

1. Introduction
In this information age, the E-government has become an important measure to reshape government image, improve government services as well as boost the development of economy. On the other hand, with the rapid development of global economy, China plays more and more significant role in the world and attracts many investors from all over the world. Therefore, it is very necessary to build the government English websites which will be as the window of our countries propaganda work to the outside world. It was not until 2017 that the central government established the government’s English website. |
