摘要

异化与归化是翻译的两种策略:异化是指一个以源语为归宿的,翻译中保留原文中的语言特色,将读者引向作者;归化一个以目的语为归宿的,将译文尽量保持译文读者的阅读习惯。由于源语文化与目的语文化之间的异同,选择异化还是归化是译者在翻译过程中面临着两难选择。译者在翻译过程中会面临两难选择,因而一篇译作会出现归化或异化倾向。本文着重研讨文学翻译中的这两种策略,并阐明他们之间的联系以及在翻译当中的运用。
 本文第一章介绍简单介绍了异化与归化,和丧钟为谁而鸣的作者以及书的内容;第二章研讨异化与归化发展历史;第三章阐述了异化与归化的定义;第四章介绍异化与归化之间的联系,第五、六章以海明威的小说《丧钟为谁而鸣》为例,研讨异化与归化在文学翻译中的使用;作用译者在文学翻译时选择异化还是归化的原因;并就该书的选择异化还是归化的措施发表看法。第七、八章得出总结,英语论文题目,异化与归化并不是完全对立的,英语论文范文,有时候还是互补的。在译者翻译时选择异化还是归化与当时的社会文化状况,译者本身背景等都相关。

Abstract

Foreignization and domestication are the translation strategies. Foreignization is the destination of a source language, keeping the original language characteristics and leading the reader to the author; domestication is the destination of the target language, the translation keep reader’s reading habits as possible. Due to differences of source language and the target language’s culture, translators are often in a dilemma of selecting foreignization and domestication. in the translation process. Translators  face a dilemma of selecting foreignization of domestication, therefore a translation version appears a tendency of foreignization or domestication. naturalization or tendencies. This paper focuses on the literary translation of these two strategies, to clarify the relationship between them and the application of translation.
The first chapter briefly introduces foreignization and domestication, and the author and content of Whom the Bell Tolls; the second chapter discusses the history of foreignization and domestication; the third chapter defines foreignization and domestication; the forth chapter describes the relationship foreignization and domestication; the fifth and sixth chapters takes For Whom the Bell Tolls as an example to discuss the adoption of foreignization/domestication in literary translation, and makes analysis on the translation of this book. Factors involved in. The seventh and eighth chapters is a summary.Foreignization and domestication is not completely opposite,and sometimes they are complementary. When translating, the translators choose foreignization or domestication involved in social and cultural conditions, the translators’ background.
