Abstract and Key Words
Abstract: Translation involves culture conflict and thinking difference. With the China's comprehensive national strength and the influence increasing, the world’s demands and concerns in understanding Chinese culture also increase. As a representative of Confucian culture, “The Analects” was translated by foreign scholars all around the world. "The Analects" adheres to the "benevolence" for internal demand, "the ritual" for external performance, rites for "filial piety" constraints but its quotations body form, make these concepts of word become the "big difficulty" for translation. This paper intends to choose different versions of the translation of The Analects as the research object, by selecting some examples, such as: "filial piety", "the ritual", inspecting each version of the same words of different translations to find the behind meaning of cultural context and how it affected the words choice of translator.

摘要:翻译中涉及文化冲突、思维异同。随着中国综合国力与作用力的增加,世界各国对中国了解及对中国文化的关注与需求也随之增加。《论语》中国儒家文化的代表,英语论文题目,中外学者竞相翻译。《论语》坚持以“仁”为内在要求,以“礼”为外在表现,以“礼”为“孝”的约束,但其语录体形式,使得这些概念词的理解成了翻译中的“大难关”。 本文拟选择《论语》各个版本的翻译为探讨对象,选取其中某些实例,如:“孝”、“礼”,考察各版本对同一词语的不同译文,来寻找译文后面的文化语境是怎样作用译者的词语选择。以进一步证明文化语境关于翻译的重要性,英语毕业论文,中国典籍的翻译尤甚。

1. Introduction
"With China's comprehensive national power and the influence increasing, the world’s understanding, interests and demands of Chinese culture have also notably changed”. Being human peculiar progress behavior, translation includes culture conflict, thinking differences. Translation practice is one of the most important activities in human society. A systematical and comprehensive research is a must to step forward the translation disciplines’ construction. Nailed said"Translation means translating meaning"and Mr. Wang Zuoliang said "a translator must be a scholar".
As essence of Chinese culture, "The Analects" has been repeatedly translated by scholars at home and abroad. There have been more than 30 entire versions around the world. The translators are varied, such as, preachers, sinologists, philosophers and so on.
The paper chose three English editions as research object, and notion words---"Xiao"(孝)、"Li"(礼),as starting points. Integrating translators’ social reality, thinking mode, religious belief and individual temperament, author aims to look for the effect of culture in translation and further prove the importance of cultural context for translation, especially for the translation of Chinese classics.
