Abstract
As we all know, the fuzzy language exists in our lives commonly. Nowadays, English sports news consists of large quantity of fuzzy language in the form of words, sentences, and discourse. It has been more than 20 years since the fuzzy rhetoric became a branch after the introduction of fuzzy theory into rhetoric. With the study of fuzzy rhetoric, people have been aware of its unique functions in bridging the gap in the fields of cross-culture interaction and cross-language communication. However, few translation theories apply to the fuzzy rhetoric that needs us continue to explore. Therefore, the attention paid for the studies of fuzzy rhetoric translating is worthy and significant.
On the basis of all the points mentioned above, the essay begins with the introduction of fuzzy rhetoric, from its definition, features and functions, aiming to figure out the full understanding of fuzzy rhetoric. Then the essay goes to the studies of English sports news, the essay focuses on the vocabulary of English sports news in order to find out its vocabulary features firstly, then the forms of fuzzy vocabulary in the English sports news secondly. Based on all this, the essay finally comes up with two characteristics that can guide the translation of fuzzy vocabulary after comparing the imperfections of Nida, Eugene A’s Functional Equivalence and defects of Vermeer’s Functionalist theory. There are two characteristics for fuzzy vocabulary translating, including moderation and flexibility. And the essay offers a host of concrete examples to prove the characteristics.

摘要
众所周知，模糊修辞广泛地应用在我们的日常生活中，就像在当代社会，英语论文题目，英语体育新闻中包含了很多用模糊修辞写成的单词，句子和段落。自从20年前模糊理论引入到修辞探讨后，模糊修辞就成为了修辞探讨的一个分支。随着对模糊修辞的探讨慢慢增多，人们开始意识到它在跨文化交流和跨文化交际方面的独特魅力。然而，现在只有为数不多的模糊修辞翻译理论，所以，我们给与模糊修辞翻译更多的关注和探讨是值得和有意义的。
鉴于上述所给与的观点，这篇论文一开始对模糊修辞理论做个总体的介绍，从它的定义，特点到功能，旨在给与我们一个关于模糊修辞的总的认识。之后，文章以英语体育新闻作为探讨文本，并只关注于其中的模糊词汇的翻译。先梳理了英语体育新闻中单词的特征，然后分类了模糊词汇的形式。在做好上述两点之后，论文在比较奈达的功能对等理论和弗米尔的目的论之后提出了两点模糊修辞翻译特点，并可以作为模糊修辞翻译理论的依据。在最后一篇章里，英语论文题目，本文应用了具体的例子来例证这些特点。
