Abstract:
Culture affects the constant change of the connotations of animal words which also reflect the colorful content of culture. The differences in various aspects of culture .lead to the distinction of cultural connotations between the animal words in English and Chinese. For this reason, mistakes in the process of expression and comprehension are easily made. This thesis will discuss the connotative meanings of animal words both in Chinese and English. Besides, the translation strategies will also be discussed according to the cultural perspective of English and Chinese. This thesis holds the view that there are similarity and difference in different cultures. Because of the cultural similarity, the same animal words in English and Chinese may have the same connotative meanings. Meanwhile, because of the cultural difference, the same animal words in English and Chinese may have different cultural connotations. At the same time, different animal words may have the same cultural connotations. Since there are unique animal words in English and Chinese, the same animal words in English and Chinese may have no corresponding cultural connotations. It can be seen that animal words possess vivid cultural marks and that culture and language are closely connected to each other. Therefore, in the process of translating animal words in English and Chinese, we should fully consider the cultural connotations of the words with special cultural meanings. Meanwhile, in order to achieve the purpose of cultural communication between Chinese and English, we should choose correct translation methods to achieve dynamic equivalence.

摘 要：
文化作用了动物词意义的不断变化，而同时动物词的文化意义又反映了多彩的文化内容。由于各方面的文化有很多异同，从而导致英汉动物词文化意义的异同，因此容易造成表达和理解上的错误。本论文将从中英两种语言的文化角度来讨论动物词的文化内涵及其翻译策略和措施。本论文认为由于文化存在共性和异同，在中英两种语言中，英语论文范文，共性导致某些同一动物词可能有极其相似的文化内涵；而异同又导致以下现象：同一动物词在中英两种语言中可能具有不同的文化意义；不同的动物词有时却有着极其相似的文化意义；中英语言中存在着特有的动物词；中英两种语言中，同一动物词没有对应的文化意义。由此可见，动物词汇具有的鲜明的文化印记，文化和语言是紧密关系的。因此，英语论文网站，在中英动物词的翻译过程中要充分考虑它们作为文化负载词的文化内涵，选用合适的翻译策略和措施，从而达到中英文化交流的目的。
