Abstract and Key Words
Abstract: This thesis, based on the press conference interpretation of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) sessions from 2017 to 2017, aims to discuss the requirements for the press conference interpretation from the perspective of the Interpretive Theory with a focus on the concept of faithfulness along with the features of the press conference. At the same time, the thesis analyses strategies of press conference interpretation and interpreters' grasp and use of faithfulness standards. As press conference interpretation of NPC and CPPCC, which belongs to a new type of interpretation, is becoming increasingly popular, it might be a meaningful attempt to probe into the press conference interpretation from the perspective of the Interpretive Theory.

摘要：本文通过探讨2017年至2017年全国人民代表大会和中国人民政治协商会议期间举行的记者招待会口译，旨在以释意理论为基础，英语论文范文，以“忠实”概念为切入点，英语毕业论文，结合记者招待会的特点，略论研讨释意理论对“两会”记者招待会口译的要求，并结合实例略论在此口译过程中所采取的口译策略及译员对忠实度的把握和应用。由于“两会”记者招待会日益引人瞩目，且记者招待会口译属于一种新型口译类型，因此，从释意派理论探讨记者招待会口译将是个有意义的尝试。

1. Introduction
During the past three decades after China adopted the reform and opening up policy, and especially after China's entry into the WTO, China has become increasingly significant in the international arena with political, economic and cultural cooperation and exchanges among different countries becoming more and more frequent. Various kinds of press conferences at international or regional level have been held by the Chinese government during the recent years, among which the sino-foreign press conferences held after the conclusion of the annual National People's Congress (NPC) and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) by Ministry of Foreign Affairs are gaining more and more attention from all over the world. This means interpreting work has become more demanding and more qualified interpreters are needed in the future as interpreters are just like actors/actresses, and they should deliver the information of the speaker to the audience artistically as actors/actresses. In addition, the press conference interpretation, a new type of interpreting, provides a new research field for interpreting studies.
