摘要
本文主要从翻译理论角度来研讨儿童文学翻译的常用策略。通过对儿童文学及儿童文学翻译基本情况的略论,我们能够发现,即使外国优秀文学的中译本很多,但能被称为优秀翻译著作的却不多,英语论文题目,对于此方面的纯理论探讨更是少之又少。本文通过对《彼得潘》及其主要中译本的探讨,总结了一些常用的儿童文学翻译策略,其中最主要的是分别从语言和文化的角度介绍了归化和异化的用法。

Abstract
This thesis is a study on common strategies of children’s literature translation from the perspective of translation theory. By analyzing the basic information of children’s literature and children’s literature translation, we learn, although there are a large number of Chinese versions of wonderful foreign works in China, that there are not so many works of excellent translations, let alone pure theory research on this. After studying on Peter Pan and its Chinese versions, I sum up some common strategies of children’s literature translation. Among them, the most important is the usage of domestication in language and foreignization in culture.

1. Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
As a branch of literature, children’s literature has two fundamental features: literariness and children-orientation. But in terms of translation strategy, the study of children’s literature translation in our country mainly follows the tradition----in the direction of language. While overseas study of that has gone beyond frame of the only linguistics. They have achieved a cultural turn, in other words, regarding children as the only footing and aim, emphasizing on functionality and acceptability of translation. On that basis, domestic research should promote continuous development in experience according to our own situation.
1.2 Significance of the study
Nowadays, under globalization, it’s necessary to make children open-minded when they are young. So it’s high time to introduce excellent foreign children’s literature into China. Till now, however, while works of translation in our country is emerging endlessly, little of them are of high quality. This essay makes a conclusion of specific strategies of children’s literature translation, under the comparison of different Chinese versions of Peter Pan. So that it can be a methodological reference for the study of translation or translation theory followed.
