Abstract and Key Words
Abstract: Code-switching is the use of two or more linguistic varieties in the same conversation or interaction. Campus is a good place that code-switching would happen. This paper discusses three contexts of code-switching first, and then points out that code-switching is used more often by the students on campus than by the people outside the campus. Following the discussion, the author analyzes the factors influencing code-switching from the aspects of linguistic reality, social factors and psychological factors. code-switching is a communicative strategy between teachers and students, or between the students. Through the analysis, the author aims at helping the readers to get familiar with the reasons of code-switching, so that they will be able to understand others and achieve a better and harmonious effect in communication with others.

摘要：语码转换是指在同一场对话或者活动时用了两种或更多的语种。校园是一个发生语码转换比较多的地方。本文讨论了三种语码转换的语境，指出大学生比一般人更多地用到语码转换。在了解语码转换的语境后，作者也略论了作用语码转换的三大主要因素：语言现实，英语论文，社会原因和心理原因。通过略论旨在帮助读者了解，语码转换是人们交流时采用的一种有效策略；了解语码转换，可以在与人交流时更好地理解对方，从而使日常交流与沟通更趋和谐。

1. Introduction
Since the 1970s, code-switching has been used more and more popular in people’s daily life, and it has attracted experts and scholars home and abroad.
What is code and code-switching? Scholars refer to a language or a variety of a language as a code which can be used to refer to any kind of system that two or more people employ for communication. In most cases, people who master only one kind of code do not really exist. When a person communicates with others, he faces a problem of how to choose a proper code. When he speaks, he has to choose a certain language, dialect, style, register and so on. He may even make code-switching, if it is necessary.
In Course of Sociolinguistics You Rujie(2017) states that Code-switching is a term in social linguistics. It is the use of two or more linguistic varieties in the same conversation or interaction. The switch may be just one word for several minutes of speech. It refers to the interactions of two languages of the same language users. It can be used as a strategy to show people’s status, sense of superiority, or even to improve the relationship of the speakers and easy the atmosphere of the conversation.
