Abstract:
Languages used by different social groups enjoy different features. Gender differences in the study of language are one of the important issues in sociolinguistics. It has been more and more concerned by domestic and foreign language researchers. Female language has its own characteristics as a special social language. Austen's masterpiece Pride and Prejudice has received the analysis of literary critics from different literary angles after it was published. But few commentators have analyzed this novel's linguistic differences resulting from gender distinction. Pride and Prejudice tells the love story of Elizabeth and Darcy, and this novel appeared a large number of female images, which are distinctive, and thus have different language styles. Nevertheless, the common features, which are euphemistic, gentle, implicit, with uncertain tone and trivial conservation, of their language can also be found. This paper focuses on the linguistic characteristics of women through the analysis of part of the dialogue in Pride and Prejudice. Through the analysis, the main purpose of this paper is to help people better understand the differences between men and women and different strategies in the session, in order to improve cross-gender communication, so as to promote the harmonious dialogue between the men and women.

摘 要：
不同社会群体所使用的语言有各自的特点。语言的性别异同探讨是社会语言学的重要课题之一，已受到国内外越来越多语言探讨者的关注。女性语言作为一种独特的社会语言具有自己的特色。奥斯汀的代表作《傲慢与偏见》自发表以来，英语论文题目，文学评论家们从不同的文学角度对其进行了略论，但是鲜有评论家们略论该小说中男性女性由于性别导致的语言异同。《傲慢与偏见》一书中出现了大量的女性形象，她们个性鲜明，有着各自不一样的语言风格。但她们共有的的语言特征是委婉文雅，含蓄客气，语气游移不定，谈话内容琐碎。文章旨在通过对《傲慢与偏见》中的部分会话进行略论，着重研讨女性的语言特征。通过略论，本文的主要目的在于帮助人们更好地理解男女在会话中的不同策略及异同，以期对跨性别交际有一定的启示，英语毕业论文，从而促进两性之间的和谐对话。

1 Introduction
Language makes human beings distinctive from animals, and is particularly possessed by people. Human linguistic behavior is influenced by many factors, such as class, age, race, education background, occupation, and religious beliefs, etc. (Han Yunxia, 2017: 13). People of different social groups have their own unique languages, and the language they used is called social dialect. Social dialect refers to the language variants which belong to the same class or social group in the society.
