摘 要
作家斯蒂芬•茨威格以其对女性心理出色的描摹而著称，他的著名短篇小说《一个陌生女人的来信》，更是其中的佼佼者。先前的学者，大多都是从陌生女人的形象塑造角度，心理角度进行略论。本文不同于先人的探讨，而是通过略论小说内容，得出小说中女主人公的性格特点。通过探讨，小说的女主人公的性格特点分成4点，第一点是坚持，小说中女主人公对自己理想的坚持；第二点是盲目，小说中女主人对爱情不顾一切的盲目追求；第三点是勇敢，独自一人面对所有一切困难；第四点是自欺，自我的认为所爱之人是在乎自己，殊不知所爱之人是完全不记得她。通过对女主人公的性格略论，英语论文，从而使读者拥有更广阔的视野去解读这个陌生女人，英语论文范文，从而更好的理解小说。

Abstract
Stefan Zweig is one of the greatest authors in the world. He is the writer who is apt at describing the characters with his exquisitely writing techniques. The Letter from an Unknown Woman is one of Zweig's most famous novels. And, many researchers from different perspectives to analyze the unknown woman. There are some researchers study the unknown woman's miserable life from the images of the unknown woman, some focus on the psychology of Freud to analyze the unknown woman. As for this thesis, it mainly analyzes the characters of the unknown woman in the novel Letter from an Unknown Woman. After analyzing the characters of the unknown woman, the unknown woman’s characters could be concluded into four parts. The first character of the unknown woman is persistence, the unknown woman always sticks to what she really wants and never gives up. The second character is blindness, the unknown woman’s love for the novelist R is crazy, without any reasons. The third character is bravery, the unknown woman is not afraid of the difficulties, and she solves the difficulties by herself. The forth character is self-deception. The unknown woman’s love is full of her own image. Actually, the man is not the right man that the unknown woman believes. Because of the analysis of the unknown woman’s characters, it can broaden readers' vision, also deepen readers' comprehension.

1 Introduction
This paper mainly analyzes the characters of the unknown women in the novel Letter from an Unknown Woman. It is known that Zweig has his own deep psychological insight, and he creates many unforgettable women who all have bright characters. The way that the unknown woman loves for the novelist R has close relation with her characters. Therefore, it is significant to analyze the unknown woman's characters, and it can deepen readers’ comprehension of the novel.
