摘 要
《简•爱》是夏洛蒂•勃朗特最为经典和著名的小说,她用自己的经历去批判这个不公平的社会并为19世纪的妇女树立榜样。小说自1847年出版以来,越来越多的学者从女权主义的视角来关注简爱,因为小说创造了一个新的女性形象,有着不幸的童年,从小被自卑所包围,但她用自己的力量去反抗不公平的命运,最后获得成功。许多学者用自尊,英语论文,自信,反抗,英语论文题目,追求真爱等等优美的词去赞美她。但她是一个真正的人,她同样有着消极的一面。她难以从她童年的阴影中摆脱出来,因普通的外貌和低下的身份而感到自卑。她不敢去反抗传统的价值观念,正如她屈从于传统的婚姻观。因此论文将会略论她的双重性格及形成的原因。读者们将会对简爱有更深的了解,并从中学到更多。

Abstract
Jane Eyre is the most typical and famous novel by Charlotte Bronte who uses her experiences to criticize the unfair society and give examples to the woman in the 19th century. Since it was published in 1847, more and more scholars pay attention to Jane Eyre from feminist perspective, because the novel creates a new female image, she has an unfortunate childhood, surrounded by self-abasement, but uses her energy to fight against the unfair fate and achieves success. Lots of scholars give many beautiful words to admire her, such as self-respect, self-confident, rebelliousness, pursuing true love and so on. But she is a real man who has negative side. She can not get rid of her childhood barriers, she feels inferior to others owing to her ordinary appearance and low status. Jane also yields to the traditional marriage, she does not dare to fight against the traditional values. And this paper will focus on her dual characters and analyze their reasons. So readers can have a clear knowledge of Jane and learn more from Jane.

1 Introduction
Jane Eyre is one of the most important novels in the history of British literature, which is written by Charlotte Bronte. She uses her experiences to give examples to women under such unfair society. When it was published in 1847, more and more scholars want to research more form feminist perspective, because it changes the traditional values that women should stay at home, have no status and hide behind men, it creates a new female image. Jane Eyre is described as an amazing heroine, she is a plain and little girl, has an unfortunate childhood. |
