Abstract
Jack London(1876 -1916) is a well-known writer whose works have been read every corner of the world．Jack London’s works are well nourished with different schools of thought，which provide him with the powerful driving force to create works and transcend himself continuously．
By referring to large quantities of papers on the Naturalism, Existentialism and philosophers who have influence on Jack London such as Nietzsche and Marx, this paper is intended to analyze how The Sea Wolf embodies these ideas under the premise of this novel. Combining the introduction the basic plot of this novel and analyzed the novel how to reflect interpretation of different philosophers, especially Nietzsche and Marx these two conflicting ideologies.

Jack London is a prolific American novelist and short story writer, whose works deal
romantically with the overwhelming power of nature and human struggle for survival．Almost countless editions of London’s writings are available and have been translated into many different languages．His writings vary in quality as well，from the cheapest and worst kind of hack pieces to beautifully written，even literary masterpieces，such as The Call of Wild，The Sea Wolf, Martin Eden，The Star Rover, and some of his shorter fiction.
