Abstract:The practical meaning and concrete execution of the combination of Listening and o-ral English course in colleges are illustrated in detail in this article. Emphasis is placed on the im-provement of students’oral communication ability togetherwith imparting necessary grammar, lexi-cology, linguistics and literature knowledge. This is a kind of adaptation to a trend of the increasingglobal coordination and simultaneous development.
