Chapter One Introduction
1.1 The objective of this study
This paper discusses how to extend the teaching significance lying in collegeEnglish second classroom teaching, to create new mode of college English teaching onthe organic combination of the first classroom and second classroom, to stimulatestudents' learning interests and motivation,to construct good environment of collegestudents' English learning, thus to gradually improve the students, practical skills onEnglish. Through questionnaire and interview,英语论文范文,英语毕业论文,this paper intends to make an analysis ofthe circumstances in English second classroom and discuss the problems in the conductof the second classroom and its countermeasures. Where does comprehensive application ability come from? How to improvelistening and speaking abilities? How to raise the ability of autonomous learning? Four orfive teaching hours in the classroom is not enough, it is forced us to strengthen theinvestment and management of the second classroom for college students to create agood learning English environment and more opportunities to use English so as toimprove the comprehensive ability of using the language.In higher vocational education, the time of classroom study is short, homework isheavy, the scale of classroom is small, educators must use the flexible form of Englishsecond classroom and a lot of time to assist the classroom education effect, to furtherenhance students, professional ability training. From the perspective of higher vocationalstudents' cognitive psychology and process, educators need to provide students of weakfoundation with learning style and environment suitable for their study characteristics.Under the condition of uneven English level of students, even if taking appropriatestratified hierarchical teaching, some management blank and regret still inevitably existin the reform. So educators must use other ways to as far as possible improve students'learning enthusiasm, learning strategy,learning skills. The second classroom activity canplay the very good supplementary fimction.

1.2 The layout of this thesis
This thesis consists of six chapters. Chapter One is introduction, which introducesthe objective of this study and the layout of this thesis. Chapter Two is literature review, which explains relevant theory and study. Chapter Three is second classroom activities,which introduces the definition and basic features of second classroom activities anddiscusses the application of the second classroom activities in English LanguageTeaching. Chapter Four is brief introduction of the practice in Wuhan Railway VocationalCollege of Technology, which mainly introduces the current situation of the secondclassroom activities in Wuhan Railway Vocational College of Technology. Chapter Fiveis the investigation: questionnaire, interview and analysis, which mainly deals with targetof the investigation, method of the investigation, procedures, designing the questionnaire,results of the investigation and implications and suggestions. Chapter Six is conclusion,which makes a conclusion on the whole investigation.
